Sr. Prameela the Superior of JMJ Convent Sirumalai, cordially welcomed Rev. Fr. Danis Ponniah SJ the Provincial, Madurai Province, the Superior General of the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph Rev. Sr. Innamma Yeruva and General Council, Provincials and Council from the four provinces. Our sisters represented from all the provinces and nearby communities to grace the auspicious occasion.
Rev. Sr. Innamma Yeruva, our Superior General unveiled the plaque and invited the General Council and the Provincials of Indian Provinces to join the ceremony
Rev. Fr. Danis Ponniah SJ released a white Dove as a grand gesture of invoking the Holy Spirit upon the Centre as a milestone to hope for the new beginning.
As our Founder Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff SJ says regarding our spiritual journey from Sent by the Lord. “Let us pay attention to our spiritual journey and continue on it every day. Remember that those who do not progress on their spiritual journey regress. Concerning our spiritual life, we are like the oarsman who has to row against the powerful current of a river, when he stops rowing, the boat drifts backward. At a time when he thinks the boat lies still in the water, it is slowly going downstream. The same is true of the spiritual life”. As it is the need of the hour for re-discovering a deeper and meaningful way to encounter God as the core of our spirituality. With grateful hearts, we proceeded to the chapel to celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
Coming together is a beginning,
Keeping together is progress,
And working together is success!
We are gifted with the great leaders of the provinces being vessels of hope.
A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and show the way
– John C. Maxwell

Meaningful Prayer
O Lord!
Keep me not in the phenomenal world of unreality,
but make me go towards the reality of Eternal self
Keep me not in the ignorant state of darkness,
but make me go towards the light of spiritual knowledge
Keep me not in the world of mortality,
but make me go towards the world of immortality of self-realization
And grant us peace of mind and soul
