“The Spirit who moves us is the same Spirit who moved Jesus” - (SBL.pg.18)

Our Spirituality

The Spirit of the congregation must be the spirit of Nazareth i.e to contemplate the hidden life of the Holy family, the spirit of the “Ora et labora” which is characterized by simplicity, love and mortification. Our spirituality is not the spirituality of comfort but it is spirituality of the Cross, hence religious life too demands sacrifices, hard work, struggle and constant efforts to achieve its goal.

Our Vision

Every Sister of JMJ seeks to live a Eucharistic centred life in total openness to the will of God. Thereby, she is constantly urged to liberate herself in the spirit of detachment to build the kingdom of God through an “Ever Adaptable Apostolic Availability” for the glory of God and the advancement of all people, with preferential option for the poor and the underprivileged.

Our Mission

Stirred by the apostolic Zeal of the founder, every sister of JMJ is ‘always ready to win souls for God’ and ‘wishes to labor like a giant’ with an indomitable missionary spirit in communion with the Church to respond generously to the global mission, in line with the Charism of the Congregation ‘ever adaptable apostolic availability.’

Our Charism

Charism is a gift of the Holy Spirit who grants to a person definite compassion for a special aspect of the mystery of God in Christ. The Charism of the   Congregation of JMJ bears the zeal of the Founder Fr. Mathias Wolff. It is his personal charism – being always ready to save souls and working like a giant. Thus he gave the charism to his Congregation as its characteristic feature, “An ever Adaptable Apostolic Availability”. We are invited to live this dynamic charism courageously with heroic obedience for the greater glory and honor of God.

Our Spirit

Father Wolff’s spirit proceeds in two lines

     -Ascending to God.

     -Going out to the people.

Two lines which do not remain separate, but blend continuously fructifying each other

Our Prayer

Change me into Thyself dear Lord, that I may live in Thee and for Thee alone, may my happiness on earth consist in fulfilling Thy holy name -Amen
